Good potential but with some flaws : 3 Pc Black Finish Counter Height Drop Leaf Pub Set with Saddle Stools
I admit, I was concerned, after reading the other reviews about what I might actually receive but I couldn't be happier! The set is a nice, dark black and is slightly higher than my counter, but only by an inch or so. Putting it together took about two hours - I wasn't rushing and didn't take any breaks to let the dog out or anything. My only issues: you will need a phillips screwdriver (a small one - it isn't provided) and I needed a slightly larger allen wrench to perfect the stools (the screws for the stools became slightly stripped and having an allen wrench one size larger enabled me to end both stools up with no problem. The larger allen wrench isn't provided. Aside from those tiny things - putting all things together was a snap! It looks wonderful in my tiny kitchen - the two stools fit under the table perfectly (without raising either drop leaf). The warehouse underneath is small (maybe adequate to hold a blender and coffee maker - it's not very big) and it's enclosed by Two doors - the doors are on opposite sides of each other, so if put too much in there (yes like I did!), the opposite side will "pop" open. The doors close with magnetic fasteners. I'm more than satisfied with my purchase!
